Classroom Management
In most school settings and classes, they all have a reward system that helps the class run smoother. In this future educator class, the five main rules of the class are raising hands, do not blurt out the answer, do not touch other students, listen, and respect each other (bullying is not an option). The consequences of not raising a hand and blurting out the answer is a verbal warning for the first time a student does not, the second consequence is the child will be ignored, and the third consequences is writing the pupil’s name on the board and their card will change from white to green. The effects of touching other students and not respecting others is the offending student will apologize to their peer, if the rule is broken the second time then the student will use a ponder-sheet and write what they should have done. For breaking the rule of not listening the student will get a verbal warning, second offense of the rule the child will not be allowed to go out to recess, and for the third time breaking the rule the student will call home to tell their parent that they are not following the rules.
